Optimising the Design of District Heating and Cooling Networks
The second out of three online sessions of the Act!onHeat Training Programme will focus on using digital tools for making the design of heating and cooling networks more efficient in cities. The software THERMOS provides instant analyses for optimising local district energy network planning processes to facilitate the deployment of new low-carbon heating and cooling systems and a fast upgrade, refurbishment, and expansion of existing systems. During this session, we will hear from two European cities already experienced in using the tool for their district heating planning, as well as from the software developers, CSE.
